Jirat James Patradoon

Een tijd geleden stond er op Obey CDRC een toffe post van een kunstenaar genaamd Jirat James Patradoon. Hier een korte bio van hem:

"I was born in 1985 in Thailand and raised in Sydney, Australia on a super-diet of cartoons, comic books, and sci-fi movies. Now I make giant candy coloured screenprints/posters you can look at and adore but cannot eat. I have always dreamt of joinint the X-men, or becomming Ultraman or Dracula, or a Lucha Libre pro wrestler. These ambitions reflect themselves in my work. I worry about alternate realities, the poor Hikikomoris, and cosplay supplies. One day I want to publish a book acout my research into parallel universes but until then I will stick to drawing pictures. The works you see on this website are examples of the screenprints made during my years at art school, as well as some illustrations done here and there."

Zijn werk is gewoon zo strak en op zijn site heeft hij ook foto's van zijn werkplaats staan. Wat ik persoonlijk echt tof vind om te zien. Hier onder een paar voorbeelden die ik echt fantastisch vind! Om ze goed te kunnen zien gewoon op de afbeeldingen klikken. Respect voor deze man.
